Child Safety Standards

How avaTOK prevents, detects, and acts on child sexual abuse and exploitation — and how to reach us.

Last updated August 5, 2026

Ava Global International Pvt Ltd ("AvaGlobal", "avaTOK", "we") has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our service. This page sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, how we enforce them, and how to report a concern.

Our commitment

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content or conduct that sexualises a minor are strictly prohibited, without exception.
  • Grooming, sextortion, solicitation of minors, and trafficking are prohibited and are reported to the relevant authorities.
  • avaTOK is not intended for children under 13. Accounts we identify as belonging to under-13 users are removed.

What is prohibited

  • Creating, uploading, sending, storing, requesting, or linking to CSAM in any format, including AI-generated or computer-drawn depictions.
  • Sexualising a minor in text, images, audio, video, profile details, group names, or status posts.
  • Contacting a minor for sexual purposes, or attempting to establish contact for that purpose.
  • Threatening to share a minor's intimate imagery, or coercing a minor into producing it.
  • Facilitating, promoting, or advertising any of the above, including off-platform.

These rules sit alongside our Community Guidelines, which apply to everything on avaTOK.

How we enforce this

  • In-app reporting. Users can report a conversation or an account from within the app, and can email us at any time. Reports flagged as child safety concerns are routed to a priority queue.
  • Blocking. Users can block any account immediately, which stops all calls and messages from it.
  • Review and action. Reports are reviewed by our safety team. Confirmed CSAE violations result in immediate and permanent account termination, preservation of the relevant evidence, and removal of the offending content.
  • Reporting to authorities. Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement in the relevant jurisdiction, as applicable law requires.
  • Re-registration. We take steps to prevent terminated accounts from returning to the service.

Privacy and encryption

Some avaTOK content is private to the participants. Where content is not accessible to us, we act on user reports, account-level signals, and metadata, and we preserve and disclose what we lawfully hold when required by valid legal process. Our enforcement against reported accounts does not depend on our ability to read message content.

How to report a concern

If you believe a child is being harmed on avaTOK, report it in the app or contact us directly. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
