Apply as a creator
How to turn your viewer account into a paying creator account.
Anyone with an Avatok account can become a paying creator. The process is two steps and most people finish it in under ten minutes.
1. Hit Become a Creator
From your dashboard, click Become a Creator, or go directly to /earn-as-a-creator and click Start earning.
2. KYC verification
Stripe Identity walks you through a one-time identity check: a photo of a government-issued ID and a selfie. This is required by US financial regulations and cannot be skipped. See KYC verification for the full walkthrough.
3. Connect a bank account
Connect a Stripe-supported bank account in your country so we can pay you. We support 45+ countries; if yours isn't on the list yet, you can still complete KYC and list offerings — your earnings sit in the wallet until we add your region.
4. Create your first listing
Pick the product type you want to launch with: live event, 1:1 session, group session, or marketplace listing. We recommend starting with one, not all four. See the creator academy for the playbook.
Approval timeline
KYC is typically instant. The handful of cases that get flagged for manual review (usually a glare on the ID photo, or an address mismatch) finish in 1–2 business days. While you're pending review you can build out your profile and draft listings; nothing's public until approval lands.
