Content policy
What you can and can't do on Avatok, in plain language.
Avatok is a platform for paid creator work. Here's what falls inside the policy and what doesn't. For the formal version, see the trust & safety policy.
Allowed
- Coaching, tutoring, consulting, mentorship.
- Performance — music, comedy, drama, dance, art, gaming.
- Education — courses, workshops, masterclasses.
- Live commerce — selling physical or digital goods during a stream.
- General-interest content — talk shows, interviews, Q&As, religious services, fitness classes.
Not allowed
- Any sexual content involving minors, or content that could reasonably be read as targeting minors. Zero tolerance.
- Sexually explicit content, including adult performance, regardless of viewer age. We're not that platform.
- Threats, harassment, doxxing, stalking, or coordinated abuse.
- Sale of regulated or controlled substances through any product surface.
- Fraud, scam offers, MLM recruiting. Same goes for fake guarantees of financial or medical outcomes.
- Promoting violence, hate, or terrorism.
Age requirement
All creators and viewers must be at least 18. We KYC-verify creators at onboarding; viewers attest at sign-up and we verify on flag.
Enforcement
Listings that violate policy are removed. Repeat or severe violations end the account. For the formal escalation process see report an issue.
