How to contact a creator

Last updated September 11, 2026

Messaging is an app-only feature

avatok.ai on the web is built for browsing, booking, paying and watching — it deliberately does not include a chat inbox. If you want to actually talk to a creator, that conversation happens in the avaTOK app, not on the website. This is true whether or not you have booked anything from them yet.

What you see on a listing page

On a creator’s listing, the “Message” section shows their avaTOK number — a stand-in number that lets you message and call them without either of you ever seeing the other’s real phone number. You can tap it to copy it to your clipboard, then open (or install) the app and start the conversation there. If the app is already on your device, the same button takes you straight into it with that contact ready to add — no need to type the number in by hand.

If a creator has not set up their number yet

Some creators have not claimed an avaTOK number yet. In that case the listing says so plainly, rather than sending you to an empty screen with nothing to tap. Book a seat with them anyway and you’ll be able to reach them from the app.

After you have booked

The same avaTOK number is how you would follow up about a session you have already paid for — asking to reschedule, checking a detail before a live show, or anything else. It is the one contact channel avaTOK gives you for a creator, on the web or in the app, so it is worth adding them as soon as you book rather than waiting until the day of the session.

Why it works this way

This is a deliberate product choice, not a missing feature: a buyer who wants to talk to a creator is exactly the moment worth pointing at the app, where messaging, calls and everything else about your booking already lives. See Web vs. app for the fuller picture of what each surface is for.
